Protech Pest Control completed a custom subfloor ventilation system installation at a property in Mentone to improve airflow beneath the home and assist in reducing excessive moisture build-up within the subfloor area.
Due to restricted clearance and limited access beneath the property, a custom Colorbond subfloor ventilation box system was designed and installed externally against the wall. The custom-built units were manufactured in white Subfloorite Colorbond to blend in with the property and provide a neat and professional finish.
Protective shields were installed to protect the transformer units from weather exposure and external damage. Brickwork was carefully removed to allow ducting access beneath the house, allowing the ventilation system to circulate fresh airflow throughout the subfloor area.
Additional core-drilled airflow points were also installed around the property to improve cross ventilation. Round PVC vent caps were fitted to the newly installed airflow openings to assist with consistent airflow beneath the property.
